Selecting a Packaging Mode

Before you start scanning, you must select the correct packaging mode for your task. Navigate to the Settings tab to choose one of the three workflows:

  • Single-Unit Mode: For items that are packed individually. No parent-child mapping is needed.
  • Secondary Mode (Box > Packets): The most common mode. Use this to pack smaller primary packets (children) into a larger secondary box or bag (parent).
  • Tertiary Mode (Carton > Box > Packets): An advanced, three-level mode. Use this to pack secondary boxes (which contain child packets) into a master tertiary carton.

Setting Session Details

In the Settings tab, enter the Crop Name, Hybrid/Variety Name, and Lot Number. This information acts as a default for all new parent packages created during your current session, saving you from re-entering it each time.
